Princess Camp
Princess Camp is a magical opportunity for your little one to discover the joy of dance while also participating in a variety of fun activities, crafts, and games! Each day, they’ll explore two different princesses, learning what makes them special, and how they can each shine in their own unique way. Camp includes interactive story time for every princess, beginner ballet where they’ll learn to dance like a princess, creative take-home crafts inspired by each princess, and plenty of other playful games and fun throughout the day!


Relative Motion
Relative Motion is a technique and strength-based program that utilizes special alignment apparel. Relative Motion’s main focus is to prevent injury, understand muscle groups / alignment, and help dancers see corrections being made in real-time. In this class, dancers will do a cardio and dynamic stretching warmup, go through a series of exercises that target muscle groups using the apparel, and apply the exercises to skills such as leaps and turns. Purchasing the apparel is not required, but it is highly recommended to be able to fully experience the class. 

Jazz Intensive
In this class, dancers will focus on intermediate / advanced jazz skills including, but not limited to, double and triple pirouettes, à la secondes, advanced turn combinations, center leaps, calypsos, circular discs, tilt jumps, etc. Skills will be applied in across the floor progressions / combinations. Dancers will also learn a short jazz combination and break off into small groups to perform it in front of the class. 

Tap Intensive
In this class, dancers will focus on intermediate / advanced tap skills including, but not limited to, wings, pull backs and single foot pull backs, firecrackers, shuffle grab offs, split riffs, shiggy bops, etc. Dancers will also work on musicality, rhythm, and guided improvisation. The class will conclude with a short combination and the opportunity to break off into small groups to perform it in front of the class. 

Acro Level 1
In this intensive, dancers will focus on beginning / intermediate acro skills including, but not limited to, forward rolls, bridges, headstands, handstands, and cartwheels. Dancers will do a cardio based warmup followed by acro focused strength. Dancers will then learn different skills using safe acro technique. Dancers in this intensive should be able to hold a table top pose and pre-bridge for 10 seconds and have some previous dance or acro experience. 

Acro Level 2
In this intensive, dancers will focus on intermediate / advanced acro skills including, but not limited to, headstands, handstands, backbends/walkovers, cartwheel variations, chin/chest stands, and partner based acro. Dancers will do a cardio based warmup followed by acro focused strength. Dancers will then learn different skills using safe acro technique. Dancers in this intensive should be able execute the following skills: down to bridge, handstand, headstand, cartwheel, and should have prior experience in acro.

Company Camp 
This 5-day program is only open to members of the Kinetic Energy Dance Company. This experience will offer more rigorous, immersive, and personalized classes for our company members. Dancers will do Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, and Tap every day. Camp also includes conditioning, stretching, and learning combinations to practice retaining choreography. Camp will include a lunch break and a snack break. This camp is to help our company dancers maintain their technique, strength, and endurance over the summer. 

Modern/Ballet Intensive
In this intensive, dancers will train in ballet through barrework, center combinations, across the floor, and more. Dancers will also be training in modern, using movements from Horton and Graham technique. Different levels of experience are welcome, though the intensive will require focus and strength.
