Creative Movement (3-4 years old)

Dancers will explore the basics of movement, stretching, and ballet. Dancers should wear a leotard (with no skirt or attached skirt), pink/flesh toned ballet tights, hair pulled back out of face, and pink/flesh toned ballet shoes. No jewelry.

Beginning Ballet & Tap (5-6 years old)

Dancers will continue to develop basic ballet skills and will be introduced to tap. The class will be split into two parts. Dancers should wear a leotard (with no skirt or attached skirt), pink/flesh toned ballet tights, hair pulled back out of face, pink/flesh toned ballet shoes, and tap shoes. No jewelry.

Beginning Contemporary (10+ years old)
No prior dance experience is required, but it is recommended. Dancers will learn dance and movement concepts like isolations, exploring textures of movement, and artistry. Dancers should wear dance shorts or leggings and tank top or t-shirt with half soles or go barefoot. No jewelry.

Intermediate/Advanced Contemporary (13+) (Abby)
Class for dancers 12+ with 2-3 years of contemporary experience. Dancers will learn dance and movement concepts like isolations, exploring textures of movement, and artistry. Dancers should wear dance shorts or leggings and tank top or t-shirt with half soles or go barefoot. No jewelry.

Modern (11+) (Zoe)
No prior dance experience required. Dancers will explore improvisation, bodily awareness, and develop basic principles of modern dance. Dancers are to wear any clothing they can comfortably dance and move in. Sleeves covering the shoulders are recommended to protect them during floorwork. Dancers can be barefoot, or in any dance shoe of their choice. Socks are acceptable. No jewelry.

Lyrical (10+) (Abby)
No previous dance experience required but ballet training recommended. Class will place an emphasis on grace and fluidity, musicality, and expressiveness to capture emotion through movement. Dancers should wear dance shorts or leggings and tank top or t-shirt with half soles or ballet shoes. No jewelry.

Hip Hop 1 (7-10) (Tori)
Class for dancers with 0-2 years of hip hop experience. Introductory class that allows the dancer to gain a foundational basis for hip hop. Dancers should wear dancer shorts or leggings and tank top or t-shirt with tennis shoes. No jewelry.

Kinetic Energy Dance Company (5-18 years old)

This is our studio's competitive dance team that allows dancers to improve their technique, performance skills, and teamwork abilities at a more accelerated and rigorous level. Placement is by audition only. Dancers should wear the required company uniform with the appropriate shoes to each class.

Beginning Ballet (7+ years old)
Class for dancers with 0-3 years of ballet experience. Dancers will focus on developing a solid ballet technique with emphasis on understanding correct body placement, proper use of turn out, coordination of the upper body, and use of arms. Dancers will be placed in the proper level based on age and experience. Dancers are to wear hair in ballet bun, leotard & tights, and split sole ballet shoes. No jewelry.

Intermediate/Advanced Ballet
Class for dancers ages 10+ with 4+ years of ballet experience. Pre-Pointe/Pointe (10+ years old)
Class for dancers 10+ with 4+ years of ballet experience. Dancer must be registered for a ballet class to take pre-pointe/pointe. Dancers will focus on developing a solid ballet technique with emphasis on understanding correct body placement, proper use of turn out, coordination of the upper body, and use of arms. Dancers are to wear hair in ballet bun, leotard & tights, and split sole ballet shoes/pointe shoes. No jewelry.

Beginning/Intermediate Tap (7+ years old)
Class for dancers with 0-2 years of tap experience. Introductory class that allows the dancer to gain a foundational basis of tap. Dancers should wear dancer shorts or leggings and tank top or t-shirt with tap shoes. No jewelry.

Intermediate/Advanced Tap (11+ years old)
Class for dancers with 4+ years of tap experience. Intermediate/advanced class that allows the dancers to improve upon their foundational knowledge of tap. Dancers should wear dancer shorts or leggings and tank top or t-shirt with tap shoes. No jewelry.

Beginning Jazz (7+ years old)
Class for dancers with 0-3 years of jazz experience. Introductory class that allows the dancer to gain a foundational basis of jazz dance. Dancers should wear dancer shorts or leggings and tank top or t-shirt with jazz shoes. No jewelry.

Intermediate/Advanced Jazz (11+ years old)
Class for dancers with 4+ years of jazz experience. Intermediate/advanced class that allows the dancer to continue their foundational basis of jazz dance. Dancers should wear dance shorts or leggings and tank top or t-shirt with jazz shoes. No jewelry.

Hip Hop 2 (11+ years old)
Class for dancers with 3+ years of hip hop experience. Intermediate/advanced class that allows the dancers to improve upon their foundational knowledge of hip hop. Dancers should wear dancer shorts or leggings and tank top or t-shirt with tennis shoes. No jewelry.
